New Papworth Hospital Selects NETconnection Systems

NETconnection Systems have been selected to provide the network, wireless, security and analytics for the new Papworth NHS Foundation Trust currently being constructed, due for completion in 2018.

This is a very significant and important win for NETconnection Systems whom were selected above other leading integrators that included proposed solutions from both Cisco and HPE as well as other major manufacturers.

In the last 100 years, Papworth has built an incredible reputation as one of the leading cardiothoracic hospital’s in Europe.

The hospital will be based in the heart of the newly forming Cambridge Biomedical Campus. The campus aims to bring together world-class biomedical research, patient care and education on a single site. This will be achieved by co-locating bio-tech companies and the 12,000-strong community of healthcare professionals and research scientists. The campus is set to become one of the world’s leading biomedical centres by 2020.
