Coleg Morgannwg, one the largest providers of Further Education and training in Wales, has selected Enterasys and their Diamond Partner NETconnection Systems for the design, deployment and on going support of a unified wired, wireless and security infrastructure solution at its new £40 million Taf Ely Campus.
The contract was awarded through competitive tender process against both Cisco Systems, and the incumbent Hewlett Packard with their respective integrator partners.

NETconnection will upgrade Glencore International Plc’s existing local area network to a resilient, high performance fabric suitable for supporting its mission critical environment for years ahead. The solution proposed and chosen is based upon S series core products from Enterasys, part of Siemens Enterprise Communications.
Furthermore, NETconnection will be upgrading Glencore’s Firewall infrastructure.

The solution will provide support of clinical applications, real time location services and voice over WiFi, allowing the Trust to improve the provision of patient care and overall patient experience.
